About
About the Artist
Kelly Faville is a Massachusetts-based oil painter whose work is inspired by the fleeting moments of beauty that shape our connection to the natural world. Through expressive seascapes, landscapes, still lifes, and abstract paintings, she explores light, movement, color, and atmosphere.
Kelly earned a BFA from Providence College and after many years away from the easel, she returned to her lifelong passion for painting. Along the way, she built a successful career in public relations and marketing communications, where storytelling and visual communication became central to her work.
Kelly’s work was recently featured in a solo exhibition at The Gallery at Villageworks in Acton, Massachusetts. Her paintings are held in private collections across the East Coast. Many of her original works are also available as museum-quality prints.
Working in Oil
I love working in oils because they encourage exploration rather than perfection. The slow drying time gives me the freedom to blend, soften, rework, and build layers, allowing each painting to evolve naturally. I enjoy watching the surface come alive through texture, movement and light.
